Summer Walker To Headline In The City This October At SunBet Arena, PTA

Following overwhelming demand and the announcement of her headlining slot at Rocking the Daisies in Cape Town, Summer Walker is officially bringing her magnetic live show to Gauteng. 

The global R&B sensation will take centre stage at In The City this October at SunBet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria - presented by STAY LOW in collaboration with LVRN (Love Renaissance).

Known for her soul-baring lyrics, genre-shaping sound, and era-defining albums like Over It and Still Over It, this marks Summer Walker’s first-ever live performance in Gauteng, making it a moment not to be missed. 

With countless chart-toppers, sold-out tours, and a fanbase that spans continents, her arrival on South African stages is a defining milestone for R&B lovers across the country.

In The City, Johannesburg’s premier boutique live music experience, was launched in 2018 to bring global artists to local audiences in curated, high-production settings. This year’s edition levels up once more, pairing international excellence with intimate scale to deliver an unforgettable night of music, connection, and cultural energy.

This landmark event is presented by STAY LOW - a Johannesburg-based record label and management company under the Steyn Entertainment umbrella - and LVRN, the Atlanta-born creative studio and label that’s home to Summer Walker, 6LACK, and other game-changing artists. Distributed by Sony Music’s The Orchard, this collaboration continues to bridge African and global creative economies through shared stages, bold storytelling, and genre-defying music.
