Samthing Soweto Heartbroken Over Not Being Credited On Mas Musiq’s New Single ‘Amalanga Awafani’

By @SeptemberEleven on 09/03/2024 in News

Samthing Soweto’s response to Mas Musiq’s new single ‘Amalanga Awafani’ was a heartbreak emoji. The song features his vocals but he’s not credited.

The song was leaked earlier as a Kabza De Small song featuring Mas Musiq, Samthing Soweto, and Howard.

But the new version, which is attributed to Mas Musiq only lists Lawd Weezy, TO Starquality, and DJ Maphorisa.

Twitter has been calling for Mas Musiq to credit Samthing Soweto. This is one of many credit disputes that have occurred in South African music, especially Amapiano.
