R&B singer-songwriter, Zimkitha is gearing up for her third single of the year, ‘Baby Vuka’ which will ignite the journey to her debut album.
The single is about the little moments that define us as humans such as stepping outside to breathe. It is produced by rapper and music producer L-Tip, infuses Neo-Soul sounds with Jazz elements through Zimkitha’s reaffirming and soothing vocal prowess coupled with authentic storytelling which is a mixture of IsiXhosa and English languages.
It has been over 4 months since Zimkitha released her second single of the year titled ‘Complicated’ with Tasha HendrixX. Prior to that release, she had announced that she was working on her debut album which would be released later in the year.
Zimkitha’s debut album ‘The Black Enigma’ is set for release on September 18th, 2024. The album release will be complimented with an intimate start to her tour titled ‘The Black Enigma Tour’ at the prestigious ‘South African State Theatre’ in Pretoria on the 21st of September 2024.
