Gigi Lamayne just announced the release of her forthcoming EP titled ‘Vision’. The body of work is dropping on September 29 and precedes her album ‘Encore’ which is coming next year.
Earlier this month, Gigi Lamayne dropped the EP’s lead single, ‘Let My People Go’, a song she recently confirmed sets the tone for the upcoming project.
Gigi Lamayne’s approach has been experimental in the last few years as she’s been rapping and singing over dance music beats and collaborating with the likes of King Monada and Makhadzi.
Still on that stint, Gigi will explore more dance music in ‘Visions’.
“I was challenged to bring Hip-Hop to different genres and my wildest imagination wouldn’t have taken me into this video piece. Singing on what some may say is a @realblackcoffee sound,”
Gigi said in a long caption for a video of her performing ‘Let My People Go’ which was produced by UK-born Megatronic.
Gigi Lamayne says she is working with homegrown Hart Rock Entertainment and Berlin-based record label, Paradise Sound System to release ‘Vision’.
‘Vision’ is out this Friday.
