YoungstaCPT's 2019 album '3T' finally turns 4 today as all the fans celebrate this milestone reached. The album embodies a total of 20 tracks which includes hit singles, 'Jan Van Riebeeck', 'Old Kaapie' and 'The Cape of Good Hope'. He shot a total of 13 music videos that year which all aired on music TV Channels such as MTV Base, Trace and Channel O. This of course was after the 'Old Kaapie' debut on the 'MTV Yo Raps!' show hosted by Scoop Makhatini at that time, which he performed the song with a dark aesthetic.
YoungstaCPT created the album to not only detail the history of South Africa but the history of Cape Town to be specific as it is with those historic events that the rest of the nation was impacted. He further utilises the album to also educate the youth on our iconic struggle fighters such as Nelson Mandela. He also touches on the apartheid times as that time left the people of Cape Town in a very much dicaptated state as to date many people are segregated in the areas and the people are still struggling for opportunities to grow.
This album is one for the books as the visuals also illustrate Youngsta CPT's vision in the most vivid imagery possible. It is what we would declare as timeless music as it is a library in the form of music art. It is worth the re-listen as you will embark on an educational journey with YoungstaCPT as he further showcases his various creative rap flows and catchy hooks with amazing beat selection.
