Buzzi Lee’s new single ‘Enjoyment’, featuring Costa Titch and Champuru Makhenzo, is banging. Buzzi Lee recently revealed that the picture she used as the single’s artwork was shot by Riky Rick.
“I remember the day Riky took these photos of me like it was yesterday,” the Pheli rapper wrote on Instagram. “I was so excited about everything going on that day from making a song with him, shooting content for his show and also having a lil photoshoot just for me cause he said I came through with the combos.”
Almost everyone in the game has a Riky Rick story, but this one is a bit unique. We knew Riky was a polymath of note; dabbling in rapping, production, film and fashion. But photography? We can’t say we saw that one coming.
Buzzi Lee made sure to pay homage to Riky on ‘Enjoyment’, rapping, “I gotta say long live to Makhado, robala ka khotso le bo Tumi Tladi/ Wa cava, cotton eaters never die, we keep multiplying re rata basadi.”
