The chorus of the track is inspired by the old ‘Piki Piki’ nursery rhyme, which sets a nostalgic tone for the song.
In the song, MJ defines his reasoning for regarding himself a gentleman and delves into society's generalised perception of what a gentleman is, which is synonymous to being materialistic according to him.
Furthermore, he explains that the song is a response to what men define as the perfect woman.
