Multi award-winning South African music duo, Major League DJz, are set to take Amapiano to the world with the second edition of Amapiano Mondays in Accra, Ghana this Festive Season.
As the world descends in Ghana this December, both locals and visitors can get immersed in Africa's rising music genre, Amapiano, at the infamous Bondai Gardens on Monday, 19 December, 26 December and 2 January.
The Major League DJz Amapiano Mondays’ residency has seen the likes of DBN Gogo, Felo Le Tee, Focalistic and Uncle Waffles grace its stage, and the second installment this year promises to deliver an even bigger star-studded line-up conjuring a beautiful affair with South Africa artists and a global urban audience.
This culturally driven event hosted by the Pioneers of Amapiano in partnership with emPawa Africa, is set to encourage the growth of the Amapiano sound in foreign countries by giving the market an event that allows them to feel closer to the homegrown sound of Amapiano.
Anyone that has been a follower of South African music can certainly agree that the Amapiano genre has taken music fans around the world by storm and Major League DJz have been instrumental in shining the spotlight and shaping this genre globally.
