American rapper, songwriter, and producer RUSS - real name Russell Vitale, will be back in South Africa for his world tour titled ‘The Journey Is Everything’.
The Atlanta-born rapper best known for his songs Cherry Hill, Wife You Up and Handsomer, will be performing in South Africa for the second time following his 2019 appearance at Rocking The Daisies alongside fellow DIEMON creator and producer BUGUS.
RUSS first came onto the scene in 2015 with the track “What They Want,” an underground hit that led him a major label deal with Columbia Records and the release of his platinum-certified debut, “There’s Really a Wolf.” Since then, he has become a published author, community activist and philanthropist.
‘The Journey Is Everything’ World Tour will travel across North America, Europe, India, Australia, New Zealand before landing on the shores of Mzansi. RUSS will kick off the South African leg of his world tour on 24 February 2023 at the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town followed up on 25 February 2023, at Monte Casino supported by some of South Africa’s biggest performers which have yet to be announced.
