Everything You Need To Know About @Arisebyheineken Series of Events

By @SeptemberEleven on 11/30/2022 in News

A’RISE by Heineken® will be headlined by US rapper Tobe Nwigwe alongside the likes of A-Reece, Jay Jody, Marcus Harvey, Kelvin Momo, Mellow and Sleazy, Sun El Musician and Ami Faku.

The series of events created by Heineken® to celebrate South African culture and the massive impact it has on the wider world, spans four events:

● 03 December 2022 at Steelworks in JHB

● 18 December 2022 at Cabo Beach Club in CPT

● 29 December 2022 at Coco Valley, Plettenberg Bay, WC

● 04 February 2023 at Century City Square, CPT

Each event leans into a different but equally valid blend of focal points from South African music culture - Soul, Amapiano, Afro House, Techno and Tech House, and Hip-Hop. A’RISE is focused on art, music, and fashion – all re-imagined and re-focused through the lens of collaboration and community building. Apart from an event series, A’RISE is a collaboration platform focused on art, music, and fashion. It aims to enable and empower more artists, musicians and designers on the rise as the project grows.

For the first series, A’RISE is actively working with cult local brands BROKE Wear and FLOAT Apparel, and partnering them with YAY ABE – one of SA’s most in-demand visual communicators and illustrators – to create a unique collaborative clothing collection that will be available at key dates in the series.
