Tae Africa is back with another great announcement as he plans to deliver another body of work during the course of the year titled, 'Facets'. This album follows his previous single release titled, 'Eloyi'. He has since stayed in the studio to cook up some new sounds for the year as he plans to close off this year with a bang. The album is scheduled to be released on the 28th of October.
Facets is a full length album. Tae Africa looks to showcase not only his versatility, but also the different “facets” of his life, which comprise mostly of his parents, son and friends. They are a common mention throughout the project. The sonic variation of this album goes from being “trappy”, to being “rappy”all the way to being musical afro with live instruments and finally including a strong log drum “Amapiano” influence. All the while leading with a life story narration throughout the body of work. The project has production appearances by KnifeBeatz, MsaiBeats, Block 66 and Le Austine who also engineered it. The artwork was directed and photographed by Tshepiso Mahoa, then further developed, arranged and completed by Martin Senekal.
