Since we can't head Back To The City on the 27th of April (Freedom Day) this year, we are heading Back To The Crib. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic that has taken the world by storm, Africa's biggest hip hip festival has been moved to later this year, the 10th of October 2020. But, what was to become of those that religiously attend the festival every year on Freedom Day in celebration of the hip hop culture? The ritual media has the answers.
Aimed at encouraging people to stay at home during this COVID-19 Lockdown period, they introduce "Back To The Crib." Think of all your favourite classic jams that you vibed to in the South African hip hop golden era? Got it? Good!
