@tronpyre's #CityOfGod Was A Sonic Wonderworld Of Romance

By @MisaNarrates on 08/30/2019 in News

"I imagine this is what God feels like," Tron Pyre croons on "City Of God." On August 24, 2019, the Pretoria based music man hosted guests for the first time and effectively solidified himself into the hearts and minds of R&B lovers. Pangea was Tron's 2018 release, bearing nine tracks laden with romantic sentiment. The project drew on subject matters around finding, maintaining, and losing in love and life. He followed up the tape with a four-track EP, titled Temporum. Conceptually, the two projects are linked in that Pangea is a conscious account of romance, meanwhile, Temporum is the suggestion of a dream about a romance.

At 'City Of God,' Tron performed accompanied by his band, under starlights. The live rendition of his songs was immaculate, without a note missed nor a feeling incorrectly translated. With every guest focused on his performance, even video taking was minimal. South Africa's R&B community is one to behold and enjoy, with Tron in the mix, it's an even better soundscape to enjoy.
