Apple is a company as well recognized as Channel or Dior. Their music software revolutionized how people consume music, taking us from physical discs to streaming over the years. In 2019, Apple Music celebrated four years in Africa! For this reason, it's only befitting to celebrate the continent's top performers.

While many made the list, it was none other than the coolest kid in Africa to win the biggest accolade.  Nasty C is the Top South African Artist and Strings & Bling is the Top South African Album and the Top African Album in Subsaharan Africa. This is not only a win for Nasty but a win for any rapper in South Africa's hip-hop scene trying to make it big. Nasty has shown just how far to the top a musician can take their career, and while he shows no signs of stopping, the stars are the limit to anyone else watching and inspired by his efforts.

While Nasty C was the most accoladed when it comes to his streams, artists like Sjava, AKA, and Cassper Nyovest to name a few. In celebration of Nasty's accomplishments, Sjava shared a message on Twitter, featuring not only the "SMA" rapper but the full list of all of the accomplished musicians in South Africa and its surroundings. Check out what the Umqhele maker had to say below!
