"Play My Shit," can be considered a shot fired at radio, however, the greater extent of the song is that there is a gap between the musician and the mass market. For this reason, mainstream broadcasters, such as radio and television, make briding that gap possible.

On top of just bridging the gap, Champagne69 get into the power of music to influence the sentiments of their listeners. Referencing subject matter like depression and drug abuse, the duo comments on how they've taken an active decision to maintain and grow their brand and sound in South Africa. When the conversation shifts to their next album, Champagne69 is less certain on how they're going to move forward, however they're certain that there is a project in the works.
