Award season has begun and BET has already made headlines.
Last year, Sjava represented SA by scooping the 'Best International Act' award. The nominations for this year have been revealed and representing South Africa are is Sho Madjozi and AKA. The "Huku" entertainer is nominated in the 'Best New International Act,' category while the Supa Mega is nominated for 'Best International Act.'
In addition to the South African artists nominated, SA's favorite, Burna Boy, is also up for the 'Best International Act' award. The award ceremony will be aired live on the 24th of June at 2am, on BET, Channel 129.
