@ShabziMadallion & @Jimmywizmusic Drop Joint Album, #LookAtTheTeam

Bouncing off ideas and trading raps with a person is one thing, but a sincere relationship, that real brotherhood that isn't held up by a breakable thread is a whole different thing that if any of us are fortunate enough to come across, we should grab on and hold onto forever.

Vuzu Hustle season 1 finalists Shabzi Madallion and Jimmy Wiz are a real definition of brotherhood and to celebrate that they share their journey with us as they join forces to drop a joint album that couldn't have had a better title than, Look At The Team, an 8 track offering themed around perseverance, collaboration, and brotherhood. The album offers a variety of emotions ranging from excitement to a more calm and "think about your life" type of vibe.

Opening it up with an extract of a speech that was made by Nelson Mandela during his inauguration at the Union Buildings in 1994, touching on acting together to build and achieve success for the birth of a new world. Doing exactly that, the two flex on how they've achieved better together on the second track that shares a name with the album. Exchanging bars with lyricist One Shaman on a 50 Cent sampled beat they show no mercy to the song titled Mercy. What seems to be a continuation of Shabzi's Focused Lady follows, produced by Beats by Blass, Wish You Would has Jimmy and Shabzi sharing about their love interests.

Transitioning from the first half of the album, they engage each other on the hardships they each are facing with their families on Better With Time. The graceful Pebbles features on Forever & A Day, I've been looking forward to this song since they revealed the tracklist, I stan hard for Pebbles and her voice. They close off the album with Big Dreams, a soulful song about the dreams the team share as they envision their future, KayLo gels in perfectly as the rappers exchange their goals on a mellow beat.

This is probably one of the most exciting projects to come out this year and I hope it won't be the last one Shabzi and Jimmy work on together. A beautiful project, here's to genuine relationships. For the hip hop purists:
