One can't begin to imagine how rewarding it must be for your work to slowly start getting the recognition it deserves. As 2018 has been getting along, I've been watching how people are rapidly waking up to the genius that is a talented wordsmith named Touchline. The budding rapper has spent the year proving time and again with every release why he's up next in the conversation of young lyricists who have the capability to move the culture to new levels - if given the chance.
Just so, one of Africa's finest emcees, Kwesta, took to his social media to give the young rapper dabs about how refreshing he is, further adding that he is open to working with him if the aforementioned is keen. Swiftly so, Touchline responds pleasantly to fans' anticipation and it's a move. Realistically speaking, we know that collaborations don't happen overnight (sometimes they do) but this is certainly the beginning of something special should it come to life. In fact, I think we should see to it that this combo manifests in music form! From gripping our hearts with his Winnie Mandela tribute, to his incredible #5Grand, and then his impressive compilation S.O.O.N, we can see what Kwesta sees in him and quite frankly we agree. Let's see where this conversation ends up while you catch up on all his music, including his brand new single Kuhamban.
"Every day a star is born, clap for him, clap for him, clap for him!"
@TouchlineTruth Bro your shit is dope. Bloody refreshing. Down to work if you are.
