In just over a month, it'll be the second annual Capsule festival which is already being promoted by the brand as well as the partners involved. Last year's festival saw A$AP Ferg come to the country as the headlining international act following his album release as well as his partnership with Adidas. He was welcomed with open arms and later gave us an electrifying performance of some past hits including Shabba Ranks and some new bangers like the East Coast remix.
I believe bringing artists from abroad to share their art with us is not only great for entertainment but it also helps the artist in question to learn more about the country without the general stereotypes about South Africa. Ferg spoke, and still speaks, highly about his experiences in Mzansi and what he's learnt during his time here. With the festival fast approaching, Capsule has now revealed this year's headline international act as Compton emcee and member of the Cutthroat Boyz, Vince Staples.

Aside from his assistance in Top Dawg Entertainment's Black Panther album, Vince released his second album called Big Fish Theory last year in June and later followed up with a slew of singles. He has a wide fanbase in South Africa and I also believe he'll receive a warm welcome upon his arrival. Since making the official announcement of the festival months ago, the festival has gone on to share that we can also look forward to performances by AKA, Babes Wodumo, Dj Lag, Dj Speedsta, and Shane Eagle. We're looking forward to Vince Staples' performance this November, be sure to save up some money for a ticket to the Capsule festival!
