Have You Seen The @BacktothecitySA Line-Up & Theme? #BTTC2018

Your favourite annual hip hop festival, Back To The City, is back for the 12th year running and they have officially shared the full line up and theme for this edition. Building from last year's theme, they have expanded on the freedom fighter concept to preach, "Freedom of self." The amazing artwork design by Beggie Jerry sees our biggest struggle heroes come to life as hip hop characters, including the late Mama Winnie who adorns a set of headphones, fierce. 

Nonetheless, the festival has shared the official line up with Zoocci Coke Dope making his BTTC debut this year on the main stage. We're still waiting for the announcement of the international act and since speaking to Osmic about whether they were in fact getting Lupe Fiasco after he tweeted about wanting to do some work in Mzansi, we haven't gotten an update on whether the dream has realised or not. Fingers crossed everybody!
