Along with the Roc Nation Brunch which happened this weekend, the Grammy Awards took place which saw a number of memorable performances and victories for some musicians. Kendrick Lamar was among some of the artists with the most nominees (7) and the rapper managed to bag most of them. Thanks to his DAMN album, K.Dot managed to go home with five awards;
Best Rap Song
Best Rap Performance,
Best Rap/ Sung Collaboration,
Best Music Video and
Best Rap Album which was seen as tight competition since he went up against artist like Jay-Z and Rapsody. Hov, on the other hand, was honoured with the Salute To Industry Icons Award at the Grammy's pre-show which was also a huge milestone for the culture. We salute K.Dot on his achievement, this is definitely a great way to start the year off. His opening performance on the night was quite impressive with a breathtaking emotive rollercoaster through multiple sections of his tracks backed up by dancers along with U2 and Dave Chappelle joining him on stage.

Also, check out Rihanna's Wild Thoughts performance with Dj Khaled and Bryson Tiller. My girl hit the Gwara-Gwara like a pro, maybe it's time she came home. What do you guys think her name would be if she was South African?
