ICYMI: @TumiMolekane Shares SA Hip Hop Knowledge

By @Lenoir on 10/04/2017 in News

South African Hip Hop has grown throughout the years and we've seen some cats blow the hell up since coming onto the scene. It's not news that Stogie T is one of the OGs in the game so of course, he'd feel the need to weigh in on the current state of SA Hip Hop while also looking at how far it's come. He is known to ruffle some feathers when it comes to these kinds of debates but at the end of the day, it's all about the culture and some cats could use some schooling. The rapper went on Twitter yesterday to share his views and also drop some need to know facts about the South African Hip Hop industry along with how some of our favourite rappers got into the game. He made a thread of twenty points and although some names didn't sound familiar, it's always good to have some knowledge of how things started.

But wait, there's more.

He meant "out rap" and yes, he can.
