@BarOne_SA Announces @CassperNyovest As Host Of Their Finale Gym Squad Session

It was announced this weekend at Orlando Eco Park in Orlando West that Cassper Nyovest will host the 2017 finale of the BAR·ONE gym squad. The event, billed to take place on Saturday 9 December at the UJ Soweto Campus, is part of BAR.ONES’ aim to take the brand closer to its consumers. 

Nestlé South Africa, which owns the brand that promises energy for a 25-hour day, came up with the BAR.ONE Gym Squad to bring BAR·ONE’S consumers closer to the brand and encourage consumers to lead active lifestyles. Zanele Mthethwa, Nestlé South Africa’s Head of Chocolate said, “As a company whose purpose is to enhance quality of life and contribute to a healthier future, Nestlé believes that our brands can be brands with a purpose. BAR.ONE can offer so much more, from special enjoyment moments to activities that can bring people together in a fun and active way so that they can earn their treat.“  

The finale will kick off with a session led by Cassper Nyovest followed by a high intensity, endurance obstacle course competition between the BAR.ONE Gym Squad leaders and their top performing attendants from the various provinces. Commenting on BAR.ONE’S association with Cassper Nyovest, Mthethwa said, “BAR.ONE invited the artist to be the host of our finale because we found his weight loss journey inspiring and relatable to our consumers and Gym Squad members. Cassper Nyovest represents the ordinary guy that lives a balanced lifestyle and despite his busy schedule, still finds time to work out. We find that he is a great brand match to BAR·ONE’S 25-hour day proposition and we believe everyone attending the finale will enjoy his high energy and infectious enthusiasm.”   

The BAR.ONE Gym Squad regional sessions are free and open to the public. To join Cassper Nyovest at the finale consumers need to join their nearest BarOne Gym Squad to be considered to represent their province at the event.
