TIDE

TIDE is a representative of a kasi kid’s brain. TIDE opens the world up into the thoughts, trails and tribulations of a kid raised in the township. With their music, the duo always emit a clear message and relatable feeling. Their first releases, “You's A Phony” and “Cheer Me Up” shown a great deal of versatility. The releases show their ability to be comfortable with, and to own many different sounds, which also works in their advantage as they’re able to collaborate with almost anyone in their respective genre i.e Hip Hop. The members, Siyabonga “Pun” Magida and Teboho “IntArt” Ncheka, have individually proven to be very good in the studio with their previous solo releases IDK (single) and Int Kills Int (EP) respectively.
