Soundcloud sensation, Russ, has a few things to get off his chest. No, make that a lot actually. He comes for his spot in The Game but not before he spits some potent truth serum type bars. Already off the bat he sends a subliminal about how hip hop awards are chosen by "racists", before he blatantly says, "f%&k MTV". Iyoh!
You know what's the best part about this song? It's how laid back he is on it. It's not an aggressive song at all albeit the content is a hit to the jaw. The usual points about bad contracts and his unmistakeable success as an independent artist are not left out of this one. Russ just doesn't understand why he won't get the credit he deserves despite all the moves he's been making for the past 2 years. He questions what the measuring stick is for really being "successful" according to the standards of the game. Basically, who is holding onto Russ' keys huh?
