J Cole has been lowkey busy directing a series of doccies that has him showing his fans that he's more than just a skilled lyricist. In the past he worked on the 4 Your Eyez Only documentary and the Forest Hills Drive Homecoming special, now he's currently busy with a documentary called Raising Bertie which is a new docuseries about three men from Bertie County in North Carolina. The film was co-produced by Cole and will tell the story of three different kids who experience pressures in their lives, stories which director Margaret Byrne felt the need to tell in this film. The doccie is set to air on PBS in America 28th of August, and we should surely receive it soon after. Fingers crossed of course.
