Get to know Soweto-bred singer-songwriter, rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Convey.
Since his debut in 2021, Convey has made significant strides in the music scene. He began by hosting weekly events at Soweto's Box Shop, drawing large crowds and gaining early recognition.
Soon after, he performed at K Naomi’s 2022 wedding, a major highlight. His career continued to rise with a collaboration with the Beekeepers, leading to a successful show at the Joburg Theatre. In December of the same year, he captivated audiences by winning the Youth X competition and sharing the stage with renowned artists like Touchline, Blxckie, and Nobantu Vilakazi.
Fast forward to 2024, Convey hosted his highly successful one-man show at Lebo’s Backpackers, one of Soweto's top tourist destinations. He's also collaborated with prominent Amapiano artists such as Musa Keys, GABA Cannal, Ndoose RSA, and Zeenhle. Convey’s latest single, Nomphelo, is set for greater heights, with high expectations for widespread audience appeal.
