"This EP Is A Reflection Of My Healing Journey After A Terrible Car Accident..." - Mobi Dixon On 'Sacred Steps'

By @AtlehangMoloi on 09/02/2024 in Projects You Should Hear

Following his tragic car accident earlier this year, Mobi Dixon has finally released his eagerly awaited EP, 'Sacred Steps'.

This five-track EP promises to take listeners on a profound spiritual journey, delving into themes of forgiveness, life after death, heavenly quarters, judgment day, and spiritual upliftment.

'Sacred Steps' derives its name from its dual significance: the spiritual nature of its lyrical content and its innovative sonic direction, featuring the groundbreaking new Afro House sub-genre, 3Step.

This fresh sound is quickly capturing the attention of the global music scene with its unique rhythm and punch. On 'Sacred Steps', he widens his sonic landscape bringing his signature sound Afro House sound into the mix with structured musical works and linear dance-floor bangers.

Mobi Dixon shares, "This EP is a reflection of my healing journey after a terrible car accident and the spiritual themes that resonate deeply with me. 'Sacred Steps' is not just a collection of songs, but an exploration of life's most profound questions and emotions, set to the transformative beats of 3Step."

Fans can look forward to an immersive experience that blends deep lyrical content with cutting-edge Afro-House and Afro-Tech sounds.
