In celebration of her birthday, Lady Du has unveiled her new EP titled ‘Underrated’.
The 7-track oeuvre features prominent vocalists and producers such as Nkosazana Daughter, Aymos, Dinky Kunene, and more. The focus track, Forever Wena, has a powerful message of love with the sweet melodies from Aymos and production from MusicHlonza.
Earlier this month, Lady Du announced that her new body of work is dedicated to all independent artists. She shared an empowering message, encouraging them to listen to their hearts, remember where they come from, and be intentional in building their legacies.
"This is for all the independent artists. People that do everything themselves. All the people that do so much for the industry but feel like Trapped! As a person that’s been there, listen to your heart! Don’t forget where you come from! God will see you! Let your surname carry you! Build your legacy! Thank you all for saving my life. This one is for you."
