PatricKxxLee returns with a new single titled ‘Broken Bottle’, as well as announces the forthcoming release of his album, ‘Luv’Lee’.
PatricKxxLee confronts his past on the new single. ‘Broken Bottle’ blends together folk and Hip-Hop elements to narrate a story of the struggle of trying to fill an emptiness through improper means and manipulation. Patrick captures the song's theme of surrender and acceptance, serving as a final pathway to redemption.
In a recent post on his Instagram, PatrickxxLee shared that for his album ‘Luv’Lee, he will be dropping songs off of it as weekly episodes so that listeners will be able to absorb each song fully.
PatricKxxLee listed six out of ten songs that will be dropping every Friday until March 15th. ‘Broken Bottle’ serves as the first lead single off of the project.
When describing the project, he wrote, “I embrace my flaws and turn them into art. I have to find some way of making good out of the parts of me I “believed” to be less favourable. This is not a sad album. My heart is purging. that’s the best way I can describe it. I hate explaining what I create because it all comes from feeling, and till this day I don’t know if we’ve ever been able to explain Luv.”
PatricKxxLee dropped his last album, ‘Room 37’ in August last year.
