Liberian Afropop Star JZyNo, who was named Liberia Afropop Artist of The Year this year, returns with yet another single.
This bold Amapiano single, titled 'Yakunay' translates to 'Hello' or 'Good Morning', symbolising JZyNo affectionately greeting the global music market.
“‘Yakunay’ is all about lifting my country’s music industry to another height. It started at envisioning myself as my entry into the global market through my hit single ‘Butta My Bread’ but then it dawned on me that I am the first and only global Artist to come out of Liberia at this moment. This feeling inspired me to do Yakunay, pretty much a hello from the ‘Rula’ of Liberian music to the globe," says JZyNo.
JZyNo's latest offering explores a hard-hitting Amapiano sound, produced by Nhlonipho who is famous for working with artists such as Robot Boii, MFR Souls, Aymos, Baby S.O.N, Mörda, Black Coffee and Heavy-K.
