Alexandra-bred rapper Jovislash has released a new single titled ‘Fede’ featuring late rap legend, Prokid.
The record is highly influenced by the early 2000 Soweto sound.
According to the rapper, he enlisted Prokid on the hook and they never got to finished the single.
“I have Prokid on the hook however we never got to finish the track and many others that we planned to work on. We actually recorded the song around the time HHP and Prokid hanged out for the last time at my studio in Soweto back in 2018, so this record is very close to my heart” said Jovislash.
‘Fede’ serves as the first single off of his forthcoming album which is set to drop early next year.
Jovislash speaks on his future plans by stating, “Besides music, I’m releasing feature films and documentaries that I’ve worked on in the past two years.”
