South African emerging artist Thamsanqa AKA Stax Masiza has finally released his latest single, ‘Xesha Lam,’ meaning "my time" in Xhosa.
This is his follow-up single after releasing ‘Sibongile’ shortly just a month ago, produced by the duo The Kids Next Door.
‘Xesha Lam’ is a Rap song that speaks to Stax Masiza's journey through challenging times over the past few months. The song represents a turning point in his life, as he declares that it's finally "his time" to shine, to get back to working on achieving his dreams, and executing every plan he's envisioned.
With a blend of Xhosa and Joburg Scamto influences, Stax Masiza delivers a distinctive sound that reflects his rich cultural heritage and personal experiences.
The artwork of the song was shot in Matatiele, Eastern Cape, at his grandfather’s home, where his mother grew up.
