South African R&B artist, Una Rams has released his latest single ‘bebé’ featuring Tron Pyre. This song is inspired by a nickname affectionately given by his long-time collaborator, C-Tea, to his cherished wife, "bebe.”
The song's inspiration runs deep, infusing each note with the essence of love and the indomitable human spirit.
Una Rams recalls, "This is one of the tracks that were super frustrating to finish." The song's inception was deceptively simple, with Tondi Rams contributing the ear-wormy piano melody and Una Rams free styling on the microphone. However, as is often the case with exceptional art, self-critique emerged.
"I kinda didn't like the song for that reason," Una Rams shared in a press release.
Collaboration played a pivotal role in creating "bebé." All the setbacks were blessings in disguise, as they allowed the song to evolve into something even more beautiful. Each artist's touch added depth, with Pr!nce and Tron Pyre's synergy shining through.
"Tron Pyre & I have always been great collaborators, he has a way with his words and vocal texture and when I sent the demo over to him, he absolutely knocked it out the park."
