Hailing from Soweto, producer-DJ Sam Deep has finally dropped his debut album titled ‘iMALI YE NTWANA’.
When speaking on ‘iMALI YE NTWANA’, Sam Deep affirms that it will be his breakthrough album.
“This album is gonna open the most doors for me and I’m gonna get my biggest bag – that’s why it’s called iMALI YE NTWANA“,he tells Apple Music. I felt like I needed to show people what I’m capable of and give them something bigger. When people listen to my music, they should feel like there’s hope – so the aim is healing people as well.”
‘iMALI YE NTWANA’ is a 15-track oeuvre where Sam Deep including star-studded contributions from the likes of Daliwonga, MaWhoo, Da Muziqal Chef, De Mthuda, Murumba Pitch, Aymos and many more,
Sam Deep dropped three lead singles ahead of the project, ‘iMpumelelo’, ‘Isgubhu’ and ‘Isthutha’.
‘iMpumelelo’ which was released on March 10th has accumulated over 6.9 million streams on Spotify, followed by ‘Isgubhu’ released on September 1st, which surpassed 1.7 million streams on Spotify to date.
