Nigerian artists, Benie Macaulay and Dreshnie Maine drop an Afropiano single titled, ‘Kanayo’.
Tagged after Kanayo O. Kanayo who is a Nigerian actor who is infamously known to play roles of a ritualist in Nollywood movies, ‘Kanayo’ is a very personal record in which, the lyrics reflect the singer’s actual feelings about one gorgeous African Woman.
"All the contributions made towards the lyrics of the record were based on personal experiences and metaphors that I believe described my thoughts," says Dreshie Maine.
"At some point in our lives, we all have gone through a period where, we are totally willing to sacrifice our Love Oh!" he added as he chuckled.
Kanayo serves as the first lead single off Benie Macaulay's recently released EP, 'Project Atmos'.
