Cape Town veteran, Uno July, makes a return after a long hiatus by dropping visuals for his new single, ‘NYIRI’.
The music video is a raw portrayal of street life, it unapologetically reflects the essence of ghetto fabulous and the beauty in the struggle.
Uno July’s lyrics, combined with dynamic cinematography, convey the complexities of street life – the challenges, the aspirations, and the moments of triumph that emerge from adversity.
“I wanted to create something that not only captures the grit of the streets but also highlights the resilience and beauty that emerge from the struggle”, Uno July says. “As a teaser displayed from what’s to come on my forthcoming album, I aim to infuse this project with authenticity and unfiltered storytelling”.
