Recently, Nadia Nakai shared clips of herself and AKA’s daughter, Kairo Forbes rehearsing alongside The Mega Band on Instagram.
The two are seen rehearsing some of AKA’s mega hits such as, ‘Fela In Versace’, ‘Caiphus Song’, ‘Jika’ and ‘Company’. Nadia shared clips of herself performing ‘Dangerous’ and ‘Sponono’.
“RIP Supa Mega live long. Thank you guys so much. We see all the love all the time. We don’t die we multiply, and we do this for Mega”, Nadia said in the clip she posed on Instagram.
Earlier this month, 947 Joburg announced that AKA’s band, The Mega Band will deliver a tribute performance in honour of the late Supa Mega at this year’s Galaxy 947 Joburg Day.
The Mega Band will be performing some of AKA's greatest hits alongside guest performers Khuli Chana, Yanga Chief, Thato Saul, Nadia Nakai, DA L.E.S and Maggz.
The Galaxy 947 Joburg Day will be taking place on the 2nd of September at Crocodile Creek Polo Club.
