DJ and radio host SUPTA releases his new single ‘Emathandweni’ featuring Thalitha and Jim Mastershine.
Following his latest EP, ‘Ntinga Ntaka’, SUPTA releases his first single ‘Emathandweni’ featuring long-time collaborators Thalitha and Jim Mastershine.
The futuristic Xhosa love song is soaring Afrotech technicolor, going back and forth between apprehension and euphoria.
‘Emathandweni’ precedes ‘Khuleka’ with singer Basetsana (Master KG) and sets the pace at which SUPTA’s forthcoming era will take – onwards and upwards.
The tune also marks SUPTA’s first release with Warner Music Africa (WMA), of his signing with the label, the DJ expressed: "I’ve been making music for quite some time and for the first time I feel at home."
Creative Lead at WMA, Garth Brown adds: ‘We are so proud and excited to collaborate with SUPTA on the new music he has been working on. The upcoming project justifies his long silence, the music was worth the wait.’
Forthcoming is also an EP that includes both ‘Emathandweni’ and ‘Khuleka’.
