Over the past couple of years Nkosazana Daughter has lent her incredibly gifted talents for some of the biggest hit singles on the Amapiano scene. The KZN-born vocal powerhouse, has officially released her debut album, ‘Uthingo Le Nkosazana’.

‘Uthingo Le Nkosazana’ is a 13-track project that features a star-studded line-up from prior collaborators such as ‘piano heavyweights, Kabza de Small, DJ Maphorisa, Master KG and more.

Earlier this month, Nkosazana Daughter announced the now new release of her first body of work and unveiled its official cover art and tracklist. This was then followed up with the drop of her second lead single, ‘Amaphutha’ after ‘Ring Ring Ring’ which was released on March 3rd.

In an interview, Nkosazana Daughter spoke on her readiness when it came to finally dropping an album.

“I believe I reached a time whereby I was like “You know what, I have done so much,” and with this amount of work I’ve done it amounts to an album, which feels like I deserve it, the world deserves it from me. My fans deserve it from me to give out a project. This is my first ever project - even with the singles released before the project, it was the first time releasing my own music.”
