Dose of Dopeness is a series of cross-continental collaborative singles by Immaculate Taste, a US-based Congolese label/collective aimed at introducing artists to new audiences.
The first single’ under the series is Sauce’, it features rappers from different parts of the continent, namely Silvertone Barz (Nairobi, Kenya), DETO BLACK (Lagos, Nigeria), Dee Koala (Cape Town, South Africa) and Money Badoo (Johannesburg, South Africa). The rappers unite on this collaborative work which is a bilingual track (English and isiXhosa) over bass-heavy 808s that give way to a house music beat switch at the end.
Subsequent singles will drop quarterly as a part of a Dose of Dopeness series.
