Zādok Needs Some ‘Assurance’ In His New Single

Zādok delves into matters of the heart in his new single, ‘Assurance’ featuring Bali, Nanette and Chukido.

‘Assurance’ is a soothing blend of contemporary R&B and Afro soul. The calming chords of the song hold it together, while the soft synth melody accentuates its warmth.

The single collaborators stick to the song’s theme, despite their distinguishable voices.

Zādok delivers a calming verse while Chakido manages to sneak in an energetic performance. Nanette’s sweet, scintillating vocals bear a striking contrast to Bali’s dark, warm voice.

In the song, Zādok emphasises needing assurance from his significant other. Chukido boasts about his partner who is “fine like Cinderella”.

Nanette expresses feeling needy towards her lover and Bali concludes the song by being honest with his intentions.

“I’m not tryna be friends with you. /I’m talking children and a Benz with you. /I don’t have no hidden agendas”, pens Bali.
