Earlier today, Aewon Wolf returned with a message for "those that might need it” as he surprised fans with visuals for his new offering, 'Fall Off'.
The visuals begin with a narration by an elderly man who highlights that "I have nothing to sell, I am an entertainer."
The song describes the rapper's state of mind; peace, contentment, and acceptance, while the visuals depict his way of living. Aewon delivers his truth as he shows viewers an unfiltered, detailed insight of his life which includes his partner, his tiny home by the seaside, how he grows his own food on a farm etc.
"Don't make a lotta money but there's not much that I need/ Just happy to be free, loving the air that I breathe", he penned. "Coz I might not be cool for this truth that I speak/ But then again, I'm cool with just being me."
He goes on to emphasise that he is in fact content with his lifestyle by expressing that he is not about the gimmicks, clout chasing and fakeness in the industry.
"I'm happy to fall off because I see what it is they choose to clap for", he lyricises.
The visuals, which were shot by the seaside, evoke a feeling of tranquillity which emphasises the artist's mind state.
Aewon delivers a raw lyrical performance which is respectable for the depth of realness it carries.
The honesty expressed and depicted in 'Fall Off' and its visuals proves that Aewon Wolf prioritises the importance of his artistry over creating facades to meet peoples' expectations in the industry.
