Paxxe Vandal releases his first body of work of the year titled 'Out of Afrika - EP'. This serves as his first full length offering since the 2021 'Beast Mode' EP. The artist is coming off a great year, from being playlisted on national radio to collaborating with South African stars, such as Touchline, the project couldn't have come at a better time. The EP consists of 6-tracks, and a special guest appearance by Klippa on track 5.
A notable mention for those who feel like they have been working and need some motivation to keep going, would be track 4 which is titled 'My Time'. Two of my favourite lines, because of how much confidence they evoke are:
"I wasn't lying when I told you that it's my time / I'm just a youngin' from eKasi who would've thought I would make it this far."
The project is centered around him taking his throne and finally unlocking his full potential because all the trials and tribulations that he faced are what got him to this point of his life and career. The project has a good balance of sounds, the one half of the project is high energy music, and the other half consists of laid-back sounds. This is definetly a project you should hear, the quality, authenticity and message make it all worth it.
