Tyson Sybateli is the latest rapper to jump on [Stay Low]’s new freestyle series, No Paperwork.
As the name suggests, the platform seems to be all about off-the-dome freestyles which have taken the backseat to written ones with the internet ensuring everything is subjected to serious scrutiny in real-time.
Tyson Sybateli, one of the sharpest rhymes out in SA right now, is effortless in his freestyle, going at it like the natural he is. He’s deservedly up for Lyricist of the Year at this year’s South African Hip Hop Awards alongside Priddy Ugly, PDotO and ZuluMecca (A-Reece kindly declined his nomination).
In his freestyle, Tyson acknowledges the nod and further goes to shout out Touchline who was, as most fans agreed, snubbed in the category. “Shoutouts Touchline, you shoulda been nominated/ So I can beat you as well as their favourites,” he raps. And, of course, the freestyle comes with a new "My bitch bad..." line.
