@DBNGOGO Releases Lead Single 'Uyathandeka' To Forthcoming Album

As we get ready for the festive season, DBN Gogo teases her upcoming album with a brand-new single alongside Stixx, BoiBizza and the sensational Amapiano vocalist MaWhoo titled ‘Uyathandeka’. Having previously released projects in collaboration with some strong and impactful names in the Amapiano space, DBN Gogo is set to fly solo in producing her very own album which is anticipated to drop just before we begin the busiest party season of the year. The upcoming album ‘Whats Real’ will be released under a partnership between her label Zikode Records and Universal Music.

From going on tours in various African countries as well as in the UK, the South African established sound has now become a popular genre across the world. The Amapiano DJ DBN Gogo, whose real name is Mandisa Radebe, continues to make a name for herself in that space as she has proved to have coined the term ‘Piano to the world’ by going on tour in various countries in the UK and having been featured on the BBC Radio platform.

DBN Gogo has alongside other African artists been recognized by music streaming giant Spotify for her unparalleled work in the music scene. Earlier this year the music producer from Durban joined Spotify Radar, a programme that spotlights and finds emerging artists across the world. She has now reached yet another major milestone by being featured on Times Square billboard in New York.

Uyathendeka is more of a teaser to the real deal of ‘Whats Real’, the highly anticipated DBN Gogo album. The young  Amapiano superstar worked alongside Stixx & BoiBizza produce the magic sound that has the soothing vocals of Amapiano vocalist, Mawhoo, with chants that run throughout the log-drum sound in the instrumental.
