@tembipowers Drops Visuals For 'Whiplash'

This week is a very different week I presume for all of us as we all get to discover new work on the internet or at least on my end. So during the start of Tuesday I happened to bump into an artist by the name of 'Tembipowers' on Instagram as he showcased his newly released visuals for his single 'Whiplash'. 

In the new visuals you get to explore his version of the hood and this is portrayed in numerous ways such as a young man wearing school uniform and yet they have a gun and happen to point it towards the lead drummer but the it gets crazier than this as the sun is scorching hot and the drummer is just tired but finds himself enslaved to the drums as the expectations from the fellow gun holder are hard to appease as it changes by the day and seemingly nothing seems to come right at this point.

The focus shifts back and forth on the artist as he is in a setting that looks like a 'Prison' from behind and yet what I would call a block of apartments/flats that many individuals stay in and this leads to a place of happiness as it is a very colourful and vibrant space from the painting structure of the building.

The music video honestly remind me of a Kendrick Lamar music video as he constantly used the lyrics to serve as a guide to what each scene stands for.

Whiplash is without a doubt a single that can be portrayed into numerous scenarios and would honestly make sense as it is what I would define as an easy adapter as it weighs a variety of meanings to it.
