@officialnanette Drops 'Fire' Acoustic Music Video

By @itsmanjobruh on 09/07/2022 in Watch

After developing and working on her sound and craft, during heavy lock down restrictions. We were patiently waiting for the new music as she had teased on her socials. Earlier this year Nanette finally gave us her first offering titled Bad Weather. Fire, one of the singles of Bad Weather. She releases the visuals for Fire which can be seen across the TV stations and online.

Nanette had then caught the ears and eyes of some of Universals employees, after releasing such a good first offering. She continues to develop her sounds so she can cement her into South Africa’s. She was introduced to the music industry through online media, which continues to run the entertainment.

The project, titled Bad Weather, is a 9 -Track project, featured artists such as Idahams. The album includes hit singles such as, Vent, Dream Girls and Mama’s Boy. The album is full of R&B hits, that will take you through the relationship phases of a young lady.

“Fire” is a response to the question of, “Do you still think I’m your dream girl,” posed in “Dream Girl”. Paying homage to afrobeat and Afropop, more so the cultures that influence those genres most, Nanette weaves English, French, and pidgin together to express her independence. This laid back, groovy, record inspires mental imagery of seaside living, African December holiday cruising, and the confidence that is often seen after a breakup.
