Making her debut into the music scene is RnB and Soul artist, Keamo with her debut EP titled, 'Growing Pains'. The emotional 3 Track EP will take you on a never-ending 'Love Journey'. You are first introduced by a Jazzy sound filled by Instruments as if you were listening to her and a Live Band. Keamo definitely took her time with writing and composing the project as her angelic voice drives the chilled live band aesthetic further.
The music personally speaks to me as it resonates with the current situation of my life. I got captured by the song 'Away' as it took me down memory lane where I began remembering all of the challenging factors I faced in my previous relationship. It is one project from my perspective that is well packaged and there is no way you cannot connect with her music. I love the message that I think she is trying to transpire through her music. My understanding of the music is that 'Love is a feeling that has no ending.'
Her stellar vocal play in the last song titled, 'The End' reminds me of 'Mpho Sebina's project titled, 'Lora' as she taps into the elements of dreaming and growing apart from certain aspirations. It just reminded me of how one should value the simple things above the complexity of being human. She also expresses the importance of emotional vulnerability with 'oneself' as it expands the whole core of 'Feeling' and 'Believing' as well as 'Healing'.
I honestly enjoyed the project for a first project she definitely outdid herself. She just took me back to the peak of 'Elaine'. I am somehow getting the similar peak vibes from her but only you as the listeners can decide if whether the project is hot or not.
