@MsJaey_ok Gives A Glimpse Of Her Heart With "The Moment" EP

On her debut body of work, singer and songwriter Ms Jaey navigates through what is a fairly new love, in the middle of a global pandemic. On this melodic, storytelling experience- she reveals a glimpse into her heart. She shares her take on relationships- the good, the bad, the ugly, the red flags and some of the sweetest moments shared. Accompanied by the smooth compositions of Nocturnal Tunes (and of Morgan ‘G-Sta’ behind This Moment)- The soothing and modern RNB sounds she presents address feelings- putting into words and flows, the thoughts and emotions that often remain hidden in the mind.

At the beginning of this seven-song collection, we experience a young love unfold- this love being the main story line running through this soulful project. Witnessing feelings quickly turn from ‘like’ to ‘in love’…But what happens when the honeymoon phase is over? The couple navigates this part of their story figuring out love alone isn’t enough, but it might still be worth the fight.

Ms Jaey shares that “Every song addresses a specific range of feelings and emotions. Every song was written based on its own r eal-life experience and each song is based on different real-life contexts. But it all links somehow.” She adds on that “Every song ultimately personifies and brings to life that feeling through the story told, the emotions expressed through the lyrics, the unrefined tones adapted and the music progressi on.” The flows, tones, emotive song writing, song progressions and final track list were carefully throughout, crafted a nd placed to vividly narrate every feeling experienced at every stage of this love story.
